Lt. Gov. Henderson championed the construction of the new USU Monument Valley education building. It will provide higher education opportunities to students in one of the most remote parts of our state. It is an investment in the community, the people, and the future.

The lieutenant governor spoke to members of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce about creating healthy work environments. The responsibility to find ways to serve and provide generosity belongs to everyone from the top down. The Chamber’s Workplace Mental Health and Well-Being series is a great way to show support for that philosophy.

The National Lieutenant Governor’s Association recognized Utah and Lt. Gov. Henderson for affordable housing efforts. From dedicating $250 million to housing-related infrastructure projects, to creating a new Division of Housing and Community Development, Utah is helping families on the road to homeownership.

Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson joined Gov. Spencer Cox to announce the evaluation of a Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campus in Tooele County. It would be an important step in Utah reaching energy superabundance.

Utah State University student organizers of the annual Aggie Ice Cream Day on the Hill met with Lt. Gov. Henderson. The students learned more about the executive branch and asked great questions. Mascot Big Blue brought the school spirit and the Blue Mint ice cream.
