Lt. Gov. Henderson spoke at the Utah State Capitol’s Wreath Laying Ceremony. She offered a heartfelt acknowledgement to the families of our fallen heroes. She encouraged all to build a state and a country worthy of their sacrifice.

Lt. Gov. Henderson joined U.S. Rep. Mike Kennedy and Valar Atomics CEO Isaiah Taylor to talk about nuclear energy as an option for Utah and beyond. Governor Cox hosted the Operation Gigawatt Summit, bringing together government, business and community leaders. They formed partnerships and talked about energy opportunities for our state, the nation, and the world.

The great people at Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties put hope into action. They roll up their sleeves alongside local families, working toward homeownership for every Utahn. Our staff service day involved hanging drywall and learning about the good work Habitat for Humanity does in Utah communities.

Lt. Gov. Henderson was the keynote speaker at the 2026 Commencement Ceremony for Landmark High School. These students faced all different kinds of setbacks in their lives. But each one kept moving forward, and chose a new, better path. Lt. Gov. Henderson reminded them that where you start is not necessarily where you end up.

Utah is challenging everyone to log 250 miles of movement in celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States. Lt. Gov. Henderson encouraged Utahns to get outside by joining Midway City government and business leaders at Wasatch Mountain State Park for a one mile hike.

The Deer Creek Reservoir Intake Project used barges and cranes, scuba divers, and an intricate interconnection of cement slabs to upgrade the dam, instead of draining the reservoir. It is a feat of engineering innovation. This project helps shore up a long-term water supply for Utahns.
