Inspiring Landmark High School Graduates

Lt. Gov. Henderson was the keynote speaker at the 2026 Commencement Ceremony for Landmark High School. These students faced all different kinds of setbacks in their lives. But each one kept moving forward, and chose a new, better path. Lt. Gov. Henderson reminded them that where you start is not necessarily where you end up.

Speaking to students at Multicultural Youth Leadership Day

Hundreds of students from across the Wasatch Front came to the Capitol to be inspired. Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson spoke on the importance of personal narratives and shared her own journey to Utah’s executive branch. Students met with mentors, networked with each other, and took part in a mini job fair.

Utah State University Monument Valley Ribbon Cutting

Lt. Gov. Henderson championed the construction of the new USU Monument Valley education building. It will provide higher education opportunities to students in one of the most remote parts of our state. It is an investment in the community, the people, and the future.
