The Lt. Governor continues literacy visits all across Utah to learn how educators are using specialized training to teach reading skills. Lt. Governor Henderson heard from literacy coaches, administrators and teachers at Springside Elementary about their triumphs and challenges. The state has a goal for 70% of all third-graders to read at or above proficiency level by 2027. A combined effort between educators and parents is key.
