Top officials from several state agencies joined Lt. Governor Deidre Henderson to visit the flood-affected areas in Washington and San Juan Counties. They met with local county and city leaders, as well as residents, to coordinate resources and evaluate the needs for short-term relief and long-term resilience. These communities faced devastating home, property, and business losses. As a result of the visits, state agencies mobilized manpower, water pumps, and UDOT trucks to build a gravel road to access families stranded by the breach of the San Juan River.
